My Astrology Background

I have been studying astrology since the late 1990’s. I believe astrology can help us to achieve deep insights into ourselves, as well as provide us with another tool to help us in our journey in life. My passion is helping others to uncover their inner passion, confirm their inner strengths, identify inner/outer challenges, build confidence in their abilities, and to utilize the energies currently happening in their life to transform themselves and their circumstances. I want each of you to create the best life possible for yourself, and I believe astrology can help you in that creation. My influences are Isabel Hickey, Linda Goodman, Jeffery Wolf Green, Steven Forrest, and Rick Levine. Due to the current pandemic, I am handling chart consultations in a virtual setting. I can’t wait to work with you, and I am grateful for the time you took to visit my website today.

A Little About Me

I am an American, female, and a Gen X’er, if that helps you place me. I like to think I picked up the Boomers’ sense of hard work and responsibility while also holding up my middle finger to anyone who thinks they can tell me how to think (here’s looking at you celebrity culture). I grew up camping, reading, writing, and on the rather nerdy side of life. Star Wars, Star Trek, and Harry Potter are important conversations in my life. I am conservative in some political views, moderate in many, and liberal in others. I love dogs, cats, and ferrets, although all animals have a soft spot in my heart. Married, I believe love between consenting adults is love, nothing else needing to be said.

Although I have dabbled in many New Age communities, my practical side insists that there is a place for both science and mysticism, both reality and hyper-reality. I believe that most religions and spiritual paths share a fundamental ability to help us to become the type of person who is kind, thoughtful, just, and an asset to our families, communities, the world, and ourselves. I also believe there is room for both the facts we know and the realities we experience, which may not align with each other in any rational way. Science and Metaphysics seem to me to be two branches on the same Tree of Life.

At the end of the day, I remind myself of this phrase often, “Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.”

I am a proud graduate of the Landmark Forum and have taken many of the Landmark Curriculum for Living corses. I am currently a Reiki Level 2 as well.

I hope that gives you a sense of who I am. I’ll bring who I am to my study of astrology, and I want you to walk away from your astrological chart reading with an increased sense of empowerment, clarity, and confidence about the path you walk in life.
